Anglicare is a Christian organisation with a history of service spanning over years that supports people at all stages of life through community care, housing and aged care services.
Anglicare have an opportunity for an Asset Manager to support our Retirement Living portfolio. You will be responsible for providing property management support across Anglicare Residential Care to ensure our facilities operate in accordance with statutory requirements and industry best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Ensure appropriate expenditure across assigned regional portfolio Capital works and Planned maintenance tasks. This includes site supervision, negotiating, scope identification, budget control and completion signoff.
5. Ensure that work completed by Anglicare staff, contractors, consultants and suppliers meets time, cost, and quality objectives and has been conducted with due consideration of impacts on residents and staff by directly supervising the work and constantly reviewing any potential impact
6. Ensure coordination of all asset strategy, maintenance, minor capital, grounds, cleaning, infrastructure works and other services across a portfolio.
7. Provide leadership and appropriate technical guidance for maintenance staff.
8. Ensure staff are well supported by providing ongoing supervision and feedback, training and opportunities for professional development.
9. Contribute to meeting stakeholder expectations by liaising and communicating with Village Managers, Executive and other key stakeholders when planning and implementing any projects. This is also achieved by being a champion for these villages to ensure that adequate provision is made for the care and upgrade of these assets.
10. Contribute to the Asset Management Plans and management strategies for each of the sites and buildings in the designated region by monitoring each site and building to ensure that the forward preventative maintenance program and minor capital works are spent in the areas of greatest need.
11. Contribute to asset expenditure according to budget by assisting the Regional Building Manager to coordinate asset assessments, allocation, budget process and expenditure on their sites including preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, strategic capital, maintenance capital, capital contingency, renovations, conversions, infrastructure and service delivery agreements.
Our ideal candidate will have:
12. 5+ years’ experience in Asset or Facilities Management at a management level
13. An understanding of the aged care industry and the changing environments would be highly advantageous
14. Experience using Archibus, Microsoft office
15. Qualifications in building or building related trade (preferred).
