Permanent part-time 4 days | Reports to Lab Manager and Head of Science
Join our vibrant and well-resourced Science Department. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laboratory Technician for a casual role supporting Years 7–12 science classes by preparing resources and experiments. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment with access to modern laboratories and a wide range of scientific equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain chemicals, equipment, and resources for practical science lessons
* Support teaching staff and students during experiments
* Maintain safety standards and assist with lab organisation and cleanliness
* Collaborate with a dedicated team of technicians and science educators
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in a laboratory high school setting
* Strong knowledge of chemical preparation and lab safety
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with Stage 4–6 Science curriculum and RiskAssess platform
