The Role
This role will see you be responsible for administration support within the Mechanical Maintenance team at the Lead Smelter & a broader responsibility in effective contractor cost management for the wider Lead Smelter team. This is a residential role in Mount Isa, working a 5/2, 4/3 (9-day fortnight) roster.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Entry of all executed work documentation and data into CMMS system as per maintenance work management process
* Assist with creation of reports and information
* Creating purchase requisitions for equipment, and general consumables
* Raising corrective notifications resulting from maintenance inspections
* Coordination of labour hire orders including tracking for accruals process, alignment with establishment and validation of invoiced hours
* Assist business with expedition processes to support critical work
* Being the custodian of SAP, ensuring all maintenance records are retained as per site standards statutory works
You will have the following skillset and attributes:
* Experience with SAP or similar CMMS
* An eye for detail and an ability to challenge ineffective processes
* Exposure to large mining, manufacturing, or warehouse procurement environments
* Intermediate level of Microsoft office suite; Excel, Word
* Ability to demonstrate a high standard and commitment to a safe work culture
