This Teaching Specialist position focuses on delivering engaging learning experiences and educational innovation aligned with the University's strategic vision.
The successful candidate will contribute to supporting Indigenous students and communities in Central Australia, promoting student success, and advancing educational innovation through cutting-edge learning technologies and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality education that incorporates Central Australian Indigenous knowledges and cultural practices.
* Support student orientation to Indigenous cultures and contexts, particularly during placements.
* Provide academic and logistical support to Indigenous students in Central Australia.
Requirements:
* Identification as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
* A proven ability to deliver high-quality education and training.
* A student-centred teaching approach with a strong focus on learning outcomes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to speak at least one Indigenous language of Central Australia.
