Job Description
We are seeking an APS6 Program Coordinator to work within a federal government agency, providing assistance with project delivery and administration and looking after day‐to‐day operations and BAU activities.
Key Duties
* Scheduling meetings and taking minutes during meetings and governance forums
* Providing governance support, to develop and manage governance papers and agendas
* Keeping records and handling the documentation that projects produce, and entering the data needed to generate reports
* Contribute to the preparation of a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, budgets, and discussion papers to manage the flow of information; and coordinating the flow of information between stakeholders
* Assist in the development and execution of communication plans, creating content for various channels, and ensuring clear and effective communication within the project team and with stakeholders
* Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new processes and systems
* Assist in the development and delivery of training programs, supporting the successful implementation of project initiatives
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills & Experience
* 2 years of previous project or PMO experience
* An understanding of project management principles including planning, monitoring, evaluation, and assurance
* Demonstrated competency in written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder engagement
* Demonstrated capacity to learn and acquire new digital skills and get the best out of existing software
* A positive solution and service delivery focused attitude, with attention to detail and ability to meet tight and multiple deadlines
* Ability to work independently and within a small team using initiative, demonstrating resourcefulness, and managing competing priorities
