Key responsibilities include overseeing treatment options, use of restrictive practices, and administration of mental health legislation.

To be successful, candidates should hold a Fellowship or be eligible for Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (or equivalent). A strong track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and driving reforms in mental health is essential.
