About the role
Revolution Autocare is looking for an experienced mechanic to join our team in Caloundra, Queensland. As an Experienced Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standard, contributing to the overall success and growth of our business. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, utilizing your exceptional technical skills and expertise.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose, service, and repair a diverse range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and light commercial vehicles
* Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre replacements
* Perform more complex repairs, including engine, transmission, suspension and electrical system repairs
* Liaise with customers to understand their concerns and provide transparent, honest, and reliable advice
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in a timely manner
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our workshop operations and processes
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified Mechanic, with a strong background in the automotive industry
* Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to identify and resolve complex issues
* Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively
* Commitment to adhering to all relevant safety standards and workplace policies
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the workshop
* Relevant trade qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
* AAC02 (Automotive Air conditioning Licence) or willing to acquire it.
* Be an AIS Approved Examiner. Or willing to become one.
