In this role you will support the Assistant Manager of the Revenue Assurance, Grants and Financial Operations Section, which is responsible for providing assurance over the various revenue streams collected on behalf of the Commonwealth and are the custodians of the cost recovery policy advice and the ACMA's accounts processing and debt recovery, banking, travel and payment card administration.
We are seeking someone with the ability to undertake complex or sensitive work and who can operate with limited direction. You will be expected to engage in problem solving and issues management and undertake detailed or sensitive projects that impact the ACMA's operations.
You will be required to exercise sound decision making and judgement to produce well developed cost recovery advice. You will also be responsible for actively supporting key stakeholder relationships within and outside the ACMA.
As an APS6, you will be expected to take ownership of your work and ensure the section supports the objectives of the Finance Reporting and Operations branch.
