WHY BUNZL SAFETY

Bunzl Safetyis a manufacturing, import and wholesale business. We specialise in the provision of reputable, quality and innovative branded products, including Mack footwear, WS clothing, Beaver lifting and materials handling, Beaver load restraint, B-Safe height safety and Frontier personal protective equipment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the National Business Development Manager, this role involves face-to-face selling to national corporate customers, as well as working closely with our sales team to help introduce new products to their local customer base.

Based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne, you will adopt a strategic approach to securing new business. You will be able to influence at all levels of an organisation and coordinate an approach that ensures we are working with the various stakeholders. Your key role will be to set up commercial relationships with new customers, then integrating them with our business and internal stakeholders to build strong, long-term relationships. Experience with head-to-toe PPE, Site Safety products and Industrial Workwear will be well regarded.

ABOUT YOU

As the ideal candidate for the National Business Development Manager position at Bunzl Safety, you have a strong background in sales and business development within safety product or WorkWear industry. You've a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets while driving profitability and securing new business.

You have a proven ability to win and retain tier one projects and customers, demonstrating your expertise in building and nurturing valuable business relationships. You have a hands-on approach and be totally focused on understanding customer's needs, their perceptions of value, and tailoring an offering that fits.

Your personal characteristics include a clear vision, exceptional time management skills, and a passion for identifying and implementing innovative solutions. You seamlessly transition between strategic and tactical activities and possess a keen understanding of financial and business indicators. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you are always on the lookout for new opportunities and thrive in complex, result-driven environments keeping up to date with research on industry trends and competitor activity.

Overall, you are an engaging leader who consistently delivers results, makes quality-driven decisions, and fosters innovation.
