Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic
Supply Chain Manager
to join our operations team. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. You will ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods and materials, while maintaining high service levels and meeting customer demands. Your role will be critical in driving continuous improvement in supply chain processes and ensuring that our operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supply Chain Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support the company's operational goals. Plan and forecast supply and demand to ensure optimal inventory levels.
* Procurement Management:
Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods.
* Inventory Management:
Manage inventory levels to ensure that products are available for production and customer orders while minimizing excess stock and associated costs.
* Logistics & Distribution:
Coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery through efficient logistics planning.
* Vendor Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and third-party service providers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
* Cost Management & Optimization:
Monitor and control supply chain costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality or service.
* Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the department.
* Data Analysis & Reporting:
Utilize data to track and analyze supply chain performance, identify trends, and generate reports to provide insights to senior management. Use data to make informed decisions about optimizing supply chain operations.
* Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in the supply chain (e.g., supplier disruptions, transportation delays) and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
* Compliance & Regulations:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies related to supply chain activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

* Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., APICS, CIPS) is a plus.
* Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
* Supply Chain Expertise:
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
* Vendor & Relationship Management:
Proven experience managing relationships with suppliers, distributors, and third-party logistics providers.
* Leadership & Team Management:
Experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to motivate and manage people to achieve departmental goals.
* Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to analyze supply chain data and generate actionable insights to improve performance.
* Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and senior management.
* Problem-Solving:
Ability to address and resolve complex supply chain issues in a timely and effective manner.
* Technology Proficiency:
Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems), as well as advanced Excel skills.

Nice to Have:

* Experience with International Supply Chains:
Experience managing global or cross-border supply chains, including dealing with international logistics, customs, and import/export regulations.
* Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste in supply chain processes.
* E-commerce Experience:
Experience in supply chain management for e-commerce businesses or managing high-volume retail operations.
* Sustainability Awareness:
Knowledge of sustainable supply chain practices and initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact.
