Job Opportunity: Cancer Care Support Coordinator
This role presents a unique chance to design and deliver a cancer care program focused on education, screening, and culturally safe client support across the NT's Big Rivers region.
The successful candidate will lead a team, including a Cancer Care Nurse and promotion staff, to coordinate clinical and health promotion initiatives. Key responsibilities include delivering region-wide cancer initiatives, leading a team, partnering with key stakeholders, integrating care into KWHB clinics, co-designing culturally appropriate resources, and reporting outcomes.
Key Requirements:
* AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner
* Experience in First Nations or remote health contexts
* At least 3 years' experience in program coordination or clinical leadership
* Strong understanding of cancer care or health promotion
* Confidence engaging across communities, clinics, and hospitals
* High-level written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Points:
