The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic property team consisting of seven conveyancers and four lawyers.
The successful candidate will manage complex property matters, including:
* Off-the-Plan developments
* Agricultural acquisitions
* Terms contracts
* Option Agreements
* NICO subdivisions
* Complex duty assessments
In addition to running these matters, the ideal candidate will have the skills to:
* Lead the Property Law team, and the team meetings
* Implement regular improvements to precedents and practices
* Provide the team with guidance on conveyancing matters
* Step-in when a straightforward conveyancing matter becomes not-so-straightforward
The Role
As a Property Lawyer at Wakefield Lawyers, you will:
* Provide sound legal advice and guidance to a diverse range of clients and property types
* Demonstrate significant experience with PEXA and Duties Online
* Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and initiative
* Expand the knowledge and skills of the team
* Deliver high-quality assistance to team members and clients
* Meet reasonable deadlines and manage client enquiries effectively
This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with a minimum of four days per week required for part-time applicants.
