Our Client is a private investment group based in Brisbane.
We own and manage a group of agricultural businesses, including sheep and chicken farming, coffee roasting and distribution, and industrial tools and technology.

About the Role
We’re hiring a Bookkeeper (Finance Officer/Accounts Officer) to support the financial operations. This is a newly created part time role due to growth, reporting to the Financial Controller. You\'ll work from home with occasional in-person team catch-ups.
In this role, you’ll be:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Processing payroll
- Reconciling bank accounts and general ledger accounts
- Monitoring and reporting on cash flow
- Preparing BAS and IAS
- Supporting month-end and year-end reporting
- Managing the finance inbox and admin support
- Providing ad-hoc assistance to Directors
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- A Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (minimum)
- At least 3 years of bookkeeping or accounts experience
- Experience using Xero
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to self-manage
- A positive, can-do attitude and team spirit
- Proven ability to manage finances across multiple businesses will be highly regarded!
