Motor Dealer Sales Manager - Used Vehicles

As part of the Tony White Group, Trinity Auto Group is a substantial, multiple site, multi‐franchise dealership, located in beautiful, tropical Cairns in North Queensland. We have a fantastic opening for an enthusiastic, energetic, and talented Used Vehicle Sales Manager to join us. Prior experience as a senior sales person, 2IC or sales manager in the automotive industry is essential.

Responsibilities

* Planning, directing, monitoring, and controlling all activities in the Used Vehicle Sales department.
* Managing all the daily duties and responsibilities of a sales department for efficiency, sales performance and high levels of customer service.
* Establishing, maintaining, and managing our sales system for effective prospecting, vehicle demonstration, customer interaction, closing, accessory sales, and delivery processes; using and maintaining customer and prospect contact data within available tools and systems to facilitate customer retention and referral business.
* Monitoring inventory and working closely with the General Sales Manager to ensure that the vehicle mix meets the requirements of customers.
* Assisting the sales team in increasing finance & insurance penetration and aftermarket sales – in line with department objectives.
* Displaying vehicle stock to its best advantage and ensuring the security of vehicles after hours.
* Establishing and maintaining a dynamic and welcoming customer relations environment that is dedicated to absolute customer satisfaction.
* Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using collaboration to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
* Be a team player and assume a leadership role within a dynamic sales environment.

Skills & Experience

* A superior understanding of sales leadership, management, sales processes and strategic execution.
* The drive to succeed.
* The ability to use critical thinking in a leadership role.
* Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and Pentana DMS.
* Immaculate and professional presentation.
* Open Queensland manual driver's licence essential.
