The business operates from three modern distribution centres, with Launceston as the head office and manufacturing plant. The organisation employs more than 35 dedicated staff and services over 3000 accounts in the industrial sanitation market in Tasmania.
A career opportunity – Account Manager
The Account Manager is responsible for relationship management, servicing existing accounts and new business development as part of the sales team. Day-to-day you will communicate with existing and new customers by phone and on the road to understand their business needs and coordinate all aspects of the sales process. You will manage a balance of existing customers and new business opportunities in your assigned territory, with support and mentoring to foster your success.

The position is based in Launceston, servicing Launceston and north-eastern Tasmania. While advertised as full-time, outstanding part-time candidates (0.8+ FTE) may be considered.
Responsibilities
* Manage relationships with existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
* Communicate with customers by phone and on the road to understand their needs and coordinate all aspects of the sales process.
* Balance servicing of existing customers with pursuing new business in the assigned territory.
* Deliver on cleaning and hygiene requirements by understanding customer operations and recommending relevant products or installations.
About you
* Have a good ability to establish rapport and build relationships.
* Have a genuine desire to understand a customer's needs and deliver solutions.
* Be resilient and outcomes focused.
* Sales or account management experience may be advantageous; however, the mentoring and support provided can enable success for those new to the role.
* Valid driver's licence; ability to obtain a National Police Check and WWVP for Employment.
