They are now seeking a Maintenance Technician to help uphold these high standards by maintaining and servicing their TetraPak and automated equipment. If you are a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician, and you want a role which will allow you the trust and autonomy you’ve been seeking, this could be your next challenge Reporting to the Production Manager, you are an experienced maintenance technician familiar with troubleshooting and maintaining the latest technology in processing, filling and packing equipment in a highly automated beverage and food manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include : Performing preventative maintenance on automated production machinery Liaising with TetraPak technicians on complex technical issues Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical and pneumatic systems Managing tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies Supporting the production team by identifying and addressing potential issues Keeping clear records and following strict safety and quality processes The Best Bits A highly competitive salary package is negotiable for the right candidate. About You To be successful in this position, our ideal applicant: Has a keen eye for detail and ability to troubleshoot, you are proactive and preventative in your approach. Is cool under pressure and possesses the agility to prioritize and respond to issues in a timely manner. Has good experience in documentation and monitoring CCPs. Is known for their strong work ethic - reliability, trustworthiness, and willingness to get the job done Is experienced in UHT beverage production such as Tetrapak, SIG aseptic filling. (Highly desirable but not essential). Is meticulously punctual. Possess a strong technical and learning agility to apply new concepts and continuously improve. Has a positive attitude, a keenness to learn and the ability to problem solve The ability and fitness to preform physical work. Is willing and able to assist and support all team members to support them in their day-to-day operations. Possesses very good time management skills and an ability to prioritize in a production environment. Has the ability to perform quality control checks. Liases well with stakeholders in quality, senior management and dispatch. The Essentials Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role in an automated production environment Experienced with Preventative Maintenance in a previous role will be highly regarded. Recognised Trade qualifications highly desirable Strong mechanical, pneumatic and fault-finding skills Familiarity with CCP documentation and HACCP processes preferred Experience with UHT beverage production (Tetra Pak/SIG) highly regarded Commitment to safety and quality assurance Must hold full Australian working rights Police Check required Flexibility to work occasional overtime Food & Beverage industry experience preferred.
