Senior Legal Counsel
We are seeking a skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join Ofload, one of Australia's fastest-growing start-ups in the FreightTech industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first legal hire within our organization, providing autonomy to develop and implement legal processes, collaborate across departments to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and gain exposure to various legal areas within Ofload.

Role Responsibilities
* Build and scale Ofload's commercial legal infrastructure, including drafting agreements and improving internal processes.
* Review, draft, negotiate, and interpret various commercial agreements such as SaaS, NDAs, vendor, transport, and partnership contracts.
* Support company secretary duties, including drafting resolutions and ASIC filings.
* Lead legal preparations for an IPO on the ASX.
* Advise on corporate compliance, governance, and risk management strategies.
* Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, including claims and insurance management.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance legal policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified lawyer with 8+ years PQE, experience in both private practice and in-house roles within high-growth organizations.
* Project management skills with the ability to independently advance projects and work cross-functionally.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills to identify risks and implement controls.
* Proactive and adaptable mindset to thrive in a rapidly evolving organization.
