What you'll be doing
As a Health Information & Records Service Officer, you will ensure timely, accurate and secure management of clinical documentation across hybrid and electronic medical record systems. Your work will directly support clinicians, coding teams and healthcare delivery. Perform document imaging, scanning, quality control and validation of clinical records
* Digitise paper and electronic forms into the electronic medical record (eMR)
* Retrieve, track, file and manage destruction of healthcare records in line with policy and legislation
* Maintain electronic tracking systems and coordinate off-site storage requests
* Deliver professional customer service while meeting KPIs, productivity targets and compliance standards

Experience in an administrative position and/or knowledge and experience in health administrative functions.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise your workload so that you are able to meet deadlines
* Proven attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors.
* Developed computer skills and/or experience with document imaging, patient administrations systems and Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent customer service skills with sound oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work as a productive team member and contribute to a positive team culture.
* Demonstrated understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles and how they are applied in the hospital setting.
