The RoleAs a General Practitioner, you will report to the Senior Medical Officer and play a vital role in delivering comprehensive and culturally sensitive healthcare services to the Aboriginal community. More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Delivering high-quality primary healthcare services including diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and respect for Aboriginal traditions and practices in healthcare delivery Managing chronic diseases and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve health outcomes Developing and delivering health promotion programs and educating patients on preventive measures and healthy lifestyle choices Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care Advocating for the health rights and needs of the Aboriginal community and contributing to policy development Participating in continuous quality improvement activities and supporting the effectiveness of the quality management system Upholding the organisation\'s mission, values, and promoting a positive workplace culture The RequirementsVocationally registered general practitioner(FRACGP, FACRRM, or equivalent) Supervision and visa sponsorship available You will be committed to providing culturally sensitive healthcare and demonstrate an interest in working closely with Aboriginal communities, to understand their health issues and work with them to find solutions.
