Volunteer: Marketing + Communications Volunteer Placement (online and in-person) in Peru with Global Nomadic. Location: Talara, Peru. Duration: Minimum 2 weeks, maximum 6 months. Start dates: Project is ongoing, and you can join at any time, depending upon availability. Cost for the in-person placement: from **** USD for the first 2 weeks; from 608 USD for each week thereafter. Cost for the online placement: from **** USD for the first 2 weeks; from 415 USD for each week thereafter.

Responsibilities
As a Marketing + Communications Intern, you will be given ownership of the organization's outreach projects, working alongside Directors and other interns to promote our development initiatives. Daily activities and tasks may vary depending on current projects.
Social media content creation for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter; gather content for posts; coordinate with other intern teams; manage online fundraising platforms.
Photography and videography; capture photos through community events and partner shoots; use wildlife camera to showcase biodiversity; develop engaging visuals.
Coordination of the design of promotional material for the NGO and its partners; design merchandise; maintain attention to detail and creativity.
Communication with our team at home and abroad; engage Lobitos community; organize and promote workshops and in-person events; create newsletters; coordinate webinars and online fundraising events.
Online Program activities: marketing research for upcoming initiatives; content curation for social media and marketing; creation of graphic elements for online use; monitor engagement; implement marketing and communication goals.
Online seminars: topics include NGO/social enterprise creation and management, outreach and business development, sustainability perspectives from a local development organization, international environmental and social sustainability standards, and research methods and community engagement.
Introduction
This project is with a surfing-inspired sustainable development non-profit (NGO) driving the development of poor Peruvian coastal communities through a path of sustainability. We develop environmental, educational, infrastructure and socio-economic projects working hand in hand with local communities and international interns. We welcome interns from universities around the world to come and carry out their own research with us in Lobitos. Volunteer interns are encouraged to develop their own research project as part of their application if it can be aligned with our work and focus.
