The Lancemore Group is recruiting for the position of Weddings & Events Sales Manager based at the iconic Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park. This is an amazing and rare opportunity for an experienced, passionate and professional Wedding and Events Sales Manager to lead wedding & event sales at this stunning property and oversee the planning and coordinating the seamless execution on the day of the event.

You could be the one if
You have previous wedding sales experience with the ability to grow the hotel's reputation as a premier wedding and events destination. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a performance-driven mindset will be demonstrated by a history of consistently meeting (and beating!) sales targets in previous roles. You will also have the flexibility to work from Tuesdays to Saturdays, to ensure our clients have the event of their dreams. A diverse knowledge of industry operations, a 'can do' attitude and understanding of what it takes to achieve the best results and provide an unforgettable experience for your clientele is a must. To ensure your success, you will have the commitment and support of the hotel's Director of Sales and leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Host site inspections & client meetings;
- Attend sales meetings & prepare and present individual activities & progress reports;
- Develop solid and ongoing client relationships to encourage repeat business bookings;
- Have responsibility for meeting Wedding Events revenue targets;
- Conduct regular sales calls to increase business levels (in conjunction with the Director of Sales);
- Maintain thorough venue and product knowledge and an understanding of the Lancemore service standards to ensure clear communication with clients.
Qualifications
- Previous wedding sales experience with a track record of achieving targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a performance-driven mindset.
- Flexibility to work Tuesdays to Saturdays.
- Knowledge of industry operations and a proactive, client-focused attitude.
- Commitment to partnering with the Director of Sales and leadership team for success.
