Your new role
Working with this established client, you have a unique opportunity to directly contribute to Australian Sovereign capability, starting from the ground up, and see this landmark project through to completion. You will be part of the foundation team, where each day offers new challenges, and you will work on something truly ground-breaking.
Duties for Electronic Technician (Metallics) include but are not limited to:
* Assembly and integration of metallic parts with electronic systems
* Wiring and circuitry tasks, including design, assembly, installation of wiring harnesses, soldering, and PCB testing
* Functional testing and diagnostics
* Routine maintenance and upgrades
* Working with metallic materials, including cutting, shaping, and joining techniques
What you'll need to succeed
We seek individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, challenge the status quo, and collaborate effectively to meet client needs.
Experience within a defence project environment and uncrewed aircraft systems will be highly regarded.
* Certificate III or IV in Electronics or related qualifications
* Experience with soldering, circuit testing, and troubleshooting
* Hands-on experience as an Electronics Technician working with metallics
* IPC Certification is highly regarded
N.B. You will be required to work in the office 5 days a week due to the nature of the project.
