Workplace trainer - electrician

Key Responsibilities:

* Developing, implementing and facilitating the Electrical apprentice competency training program, with the governance framework
* Facilitating the apprentice curriculum, including practical, theoretical and assessments
* Managing the apprentice workshop environment
* Building relationships and coaching the business in the management of the process
* Demonstrate safe work behaviours through leading by example, identifying and acting on opportunities to improve safety standards and performance
* Engage with Maintenance teams to ensure appropriate and timely planning of required training

About You:

We are looking for Electrical Trades people that have worked in an industrial environment that will lead our apprentices to reach their full potential.

* Electrical Trade qualification with an unrestricted electrical licence
* Minimum of 5 years' experience within the Electrical trade
* Experience as a facilitator and within a competency-based training environment preferred but not essential
* High level literacy, including computer literacy
* Strong communication and engagement skills
* Understanding of and training experience in a manufacturing/mining operational environment
* Demonstrated understanding of training methodologies and blended learning preferred but not essential
* Demonstrated experience in writing documents and other literacy preferred but not essential
* Understanding and experience in development of training and assessment materials
