Mai-Wel is the regions leader in NDIS support and employment pathways for individuals in the disability and youth streams. With over 65 years serving our community this is an organisation with people at it's core and delivering for disadvantaged.
The role of Practice Lead is seated in the NDIS Pathway of Mai Wel and will be key to ensuring the high level of care, support and service to individuals with a disability is maintained.
Mai-Wel is strategically driving change in it's service delivery and this has lead to the creation of new roles as Practice Lead.
Working as a united leadership group, the Practice Lead roles will be working in 2 distinct areas (Social Community & Creative Pathways or Home and Living Pathways) but will ultimately work together to drive higher levels of support for Mai-Wel participants in the NDIS Pathway.
The Role
* Provide intentional leadership (coach, mentor, and counsel) team to deliver active supports.
* Internal champion and role-model organisation values to support achievement of business objectives.
* Pivotal contact and relationship champion with individual participants and their support network.
* Contribute to improvement through strategy and continuous improvement initiatives of services.
* Implement delivery of services and supports in line with quality management framework.
* Ensure best practice service delivery for participants is achieved through the provision of person centred supports underpinned by practice standards.

You will need:
* NDIS Exposure with min 5-years recent experience in the Disability sector
* Working knowledge of NDIS Standards + NDIS Quality & Safety Safeguards
* Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans
* Working knowledge of Restrictive Practice guidelines
* Cert IV or above quals in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health or other relevant stream
* Leader of company process, best practice and industrial tools
* Driver of 'Active Support' practice for organisation
* Skilled using MS Office suite
* Always have the participants at the heart of everything you do.
