The Good Dentist isn't your run-of-the-mill dental clinic, which is exactly why we don't want run-of-the-mill marketing. Let's be real... the world has enough "don't forget to floss" posts.

We care deeply about people, community and genuine connection. We want patients to arrive as strangers and leave as friends and our content needs to convey that. Every piece of content we create is warm, human and relatable, and helps people feel confident in their dental journey.

You don't need to be perfect or have every skill mastered. What matters most is that you care about people, enjoy creating, stay organised, and are open to learning, growing, and trying new things.


The Role


We're on the hunt for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator who can:

* Build and schedule social content across Instagram and Facebook
* Write captions, email copy, and reel scripts that feel real and relatable
* Plan and co-create video content with our founder and team
* Keep our brand aesthetics sharp using Canva and simple design tools
* Support campaigns, personal branding, and community engagement initiatives
* Work from our Newcastle clinic, immersed in the heart of the brand


The Details

* Employed or Contractor Engagement (ABN required)
* $35-$45 per Hr
* 3-4 days per week
* On-site role at our Newcastle clinic on Darby St


You'll Thrive If You…

* Have 1–3 years'+ experience in social, marketing, or content creation
* Love writing and storytelling (and know how to speak fluent "Instagram")
* Know your way around Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Mailchimp (or similar)
* Want to work in an environment where being genuine and creative is celebrated
* Happily give and take on feedback with the end goal in sight
* Are efficient, honest, self-directed and know how to get sh*t done

Brownie Points

* Basic video editing skills (CapCut/Reels/TikTok)
* Comfortable filming short-form content
* Experience with Canva, Mailchimp or Meta Business Suite
* Interest in branding and digital marketing
* Experience adhering to content guidelines
