BE A PIONEER: OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE - OAKLEIGH, MELBOURNE
We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new clinic in Oakleigh, Melbourne, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Occupational Health Registered Nurse to help lead the way. This is a permanent full-time role (Monday to Friday) where you will play a key part in establishing and shaping the clinic's success from day one.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a founding team member, you will work closely with Occupational Physicians, Registrars, and fellow Nurses to deliver high-quality health services including employment-related assessments, wellness initiatives, and injury case management.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
* Workplace medical assessments including performing audiometry, spirometry, ECG, drug screening, functional capacity evaluations and aerobic fitness tests
* Coordinating health and wellness projects including taking bloods and administering vaccinations
* Triage and case management of workplace injuries to ensure a sustainable return to work
* Occasional project work at client sites
* Accurate and timely clinical documentation
* General administration
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To thrive in this pioneering role, you will bring:
* Degree level qualifications in nursing or equivalent
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
* Experience or Qualifications in Audiometry, Spirometry, Drug & Alcohol Screening, Nurse Immunisation Certificate, and/or Phlebotomy (highly regarded)
* Current First Aid & CPR certification
* A current drivers' license
* Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a professional approach
* An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent time management, prioritisation and documentation skills
* A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
