Where you’ll be working
Inverell District Hospital is a 52-bed facility providing a wide range of services to the North-Western and New England communities of NSW. Our on-campus Community Health Centre extends care through primary health and allied health services, offering an integrated approach to health for our region.
Our services include Emergency, Maternity, Surgical, Paediatric, Outpatients, Ophthalmology, and Renal Dialysis. As a casual Enrolled Nurse, you’ll have opportunities to support patient care across a variety of departments, working under the indirect supervision of Registered Nurses and alongside a committed multidisciplinary team.

About the role
This is a casual position with flexibility across all shifts — day, evening, and night duty. You’ll be hands-on in delivering person-centred, evidence-based nursing care — from wound care and medication administration, to supporting patients with daily health needs, documentation and safe clinical practice. Each shift will bring new experiences as you contribute to the smooth running of the hospital and the wellbeing of patients and families.
About you
You are a professional, motivated and flexible Enrolled Nurse who enjoys variety in your work. You bring:
- Practical clinical skills across a range of nursing tasks, with the ability to adapt to different departments.
- A strong commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassion, respect, and professionalism in every interaction.
- Flexibility to work across multiple clinical areas and shifts.
