To be considered, you should possess: Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The ability to work effectively under broad direction and manage staff. Excellent written and oral communication skills. A passion for WHS and workers' compensation policy. Highly Desirable Skills: Current baseline security clearance. Tertiary qualifications in health, industrial relations, science, regulatory reform, or industries policy. Previous policy experience. The Teams: Chemicals Policy: Develop national policy to protect Australian workers from hazardous chemicals. High Risk Work and Industries Policy: Provide guidance on safe work practices and oversee model WHS Regulations for high-risk work. Workers' Compensation Policy: Lead policy development on workers' compensation and activities under the National Return to Work Strategy 2020-2030. WHS Framework: Develop and oversee national policy relating to the model WHS Act, ensuring its application in traditional and non-traditional workplaces.
