**About the company**
Newly built Truck Service Centre South of Wollongong looking for a new Service Manager keen to join and move the business to the next level.
Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in the search for a self-motivated, customer service-focused and business-oriented Service Manager.
**About the role**
In this position, you will be managing and developing the service team, providing staff with leadership, training and growth.
You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers to further grow the business and ensure the overall day-to-day running of the department is successful.
**Duties**
- Train service advisors to promote customer satisfaction
- Building and maintaining positive customer and employee relationships
- Generate and continually strive to increase labour sales.
- Communicating with all other dealership managers to ensure KPIs and objectives are achieved for the overall business
- Handling customer concerns and complaints that demand managers' attention with prompt solution-based outcomes
- Ensure that all required technical publications, periodicals, bulletins etc are obtained, kept up to date and properly maintained.
- Monitor the effective labour sales rate continuously.
- Maintain a high level of shop cleanliness, equipment repair and general shop appearance.
**Skills and experience**
- Truck or heavy vehicle experience > 3 years
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Leadership and people management skills
- Proven experience in a similar role, supervising a team
- Have a high-level knowledge of service department processes, policies, and procedures in a franchised dealership.
