Safety Leaders

We are seeking experienced Safety Leaders for full-time roles involving site travel. The role involves leading a team of safety professionals and developing a safety management system across all levels of the organization, from site workers to the Australian Leadership Team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career progression within our global organization.
ESS provides multi-service support to major companies operating in remote sites, including gold mines and coal fields, supporting workers in isolated terrains worldwide, from oil rigs in the North Sea to Australian outback mines.
The Position
* Assist in incident investigations to identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are completed, maintaining the incident management database
* Implement safety improvement, education, and monitoring programs within the regions
* Support and maintain company certification to Australian and international standards through external HSEQ audits
* Build relationships with clients to demonstrate how our operations manage risks and add value to their business
* Assist in tender preparations and presentations, including developing management plans
* Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate updates to stakeholders
* Analyze safety performance metrics to identify improvement areas and report regularly to the business
* Assist in managing subcontractors and suppliers, including selection and onboarding
The Person
* Proven leadership in safe operations and influencing senior leaders to adhere to HSEQ standards
* Experience implementing and monitoring HSEQ programs in a multi-service environment
* Degree or Diploma in a relevant field and/or Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
* Experience in a trades environment
* Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, including subcontractors and clients
* Qualifications in ICAM investigations and root cause analysis are preferred
* Experience with Rapidgobal subcontractor management software is preferred
