Responsibilities
* Take ownership of end-to-end flight preparation and import/export operations within the freight terminal, ensuring on‑time performance aligned with aircraft schedules and customer commitments.
* Maintain clear proactive communication with internal teams and airline stakeholders while upholding strict quality and compliance standards.
* Supervise cargo build‑up, manage dangerous goods, coordinate transshipments and optimise cargo uplift.
* Serve as the primary liaison for operational changes and ensure smooth coordination across all critical functions.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a logistics freight or airline environment
* The ability to work a 7-day rotational shift roster including night shifts
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Solid computer literacy
* The ability to perform manual handling tasks with capacity to lift up to 25kg
* Able to thrive both in team settings and when working independently
* Strong time management skills
* Previous face-to-face customer service experience and skills
* The ability to obtain a Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification
* An open Driver's licence and the ability to obtain an Air-side Driver's Licence
* Cleared and met all requirements of an ASIC
