Immediate need for a Site Supervisor to join a highly reputable national Australian commercial, industrial and infrastructure build contractor. Initially, you will work on a large TMR / Govt project located in Ormeau. It is a complex new build industrial construction project with complex concrete structure and infrastructure works. Following this you’ll work on another project in Greater Brisbane in the tier 2 build space.

The Position – Structures Site Supervisor
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery team alongside the experienced, professional site team. While working on this huge industrial and infrastructure project your key focus will be the management of the complex concrete structural packages. On a day-to-day basis your duties will include;
* Conduct site inductions
* Interpret and work off plans
* Supervise team members
* Management of structural and concrete sub-contractors
* Read and work off construction plans
* Programming
* Strong Health and safety
* Use construction software
* Use initiative to keep job running smoothly in the absence of supervisors
To be suitable for the role it is anticipated that you will possess the following;
* A carpentry, formworking or trade background
* Will have worked in a structures foreman position previously
* Will have a through understanding on concreting, formworking and structural elements across various
* Will have ideally worked tier 1 and 2 contractors in Australia.
* Experience of TMR projects will be ideal.
* Experience working on large industrial new build projects is deemed as hugely beneficial
