Newcastle Locksmiths & Security is one of the region's leading locksmith and electronic security providers, servicing commercial, government, and residential clients across the Hunter. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and highly organised Warehouse & Dispatch Officer to take ownership of our warehouse operations.
This is a key role in the business ensuring our technicians have the parts they need and our customers receive orders on time.
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Receiving and checking incoming deliveries from suppliers
* Picking, packing, and dispatching orders quickly and accurately
* Managing warehouse and maintaining organisation
* Preparing parts and equipment for Locksmiths/ technicians' daily jobs
* Coordinating freight and courier collections
* Processing goods in/out through our inventory system
* Conducting stocktakes and maintaining inventory accuracy
* Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and running efficiently
What We're Looking For
We want someone who takes pride in running a tight warehouse operation.
You will ideally have:
* Previous warehouse, logistics, or dispatch experience
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy with stock
* Ability to work independently and stay on top of priorities
* Good computer skills and experience
* A positive, can-do attitude and reliability
* Full Drivers license
* Forklift licence
