We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract as parental leave cover.
In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting daily transactions and periodic financial reporting, helping us deliver accurate, high-quality financials to our stakeholders. It's a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic and evolving finance environment, with exposure to the wider business.

What the role involves:
* Complete bank reconciliations on a daily basis
* Support customer and intercompany invoicing
* Maintain fixed asset records
* Process employee expenses and credit card transactions
* Assist with month-end close, Journal entries and BAS preparation
* Support audit activities
What we're looking for:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in an accounting role.
* System proficiency: experience of using SAP and intermediate user of Excel.
* Communication: excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Teamwork: ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Other required skills: attention to detail and time management skills to meet critical deadline.
