The role
I'm currently looking for an experienced and customer‐oriented individual to join our team as a full‐time Store Manager at our James Lane Mile End store. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service. Reporting directly to the Area Manager, you will play a major role in our Sleeping Giant store's success. Your new role will see you inspiring not just your customers, but also your team, with a leading‐by‐example and can‐do attitude.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
* Ensure smooth operation of the store, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store
* Train and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service
* Build and maintain relationships with customers to drive repeat business
* Monitor and analyze sales and inventory reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
* Previous experience as a retail manager/assistant manager, preferably in a similar industry
* Robust leadership and communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Flexible and collaborative approach to work
* Strong organizational and problem‐solving skills
