Trade Assistant Opportunity
At our Plant Department Operations in Burton, South Australia, we have an exciting role for a proactive trade assistant to work alongside and assist qualified tradespeople.
The ideal candidate will provide support in preparation, painting, and finishing work on our fleet of road transport and heavy mobile plant equipment. This opportunity allows for skill development in our painting department with on-the-job training and exposure to other areas of our maintenance workshop.
* Key responsibilities include working a Monday – Friday roster, completing 12-hour shifts from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm, carrying out high-level tasks, general yard work, maintaining cleanliness, working as part of a team, and promoting high standards in Health and Safety.
Requirements:
* Current C Class Drivers Licence (essential)
* Current Forklift Licence (essential)
* Previous experience in spray painting or powder coat environment (highly desirable)
* Safe operating experience with workshop power tooling (highly desirable)
* Basic machine knowledge (highly desirable)
* Passion for the industry and trade, desire to work and learn on the job, experience with manual intensive work, ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
