We're looking for a confident and guest-focused Assistant Manager to join our Front Office team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional ready to step into a leadership role and take ownership of the guest experience on shift.
In this role, you'll support the day-to-day operations of Front Office while acting as the key point of contact for guests and the team. You'll lead from the front, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures, supporting your team during busy periods and handling any guest concerns with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
Support the daily operation of the Front Office departmentLead and support the team on shift to deliver a high standard of serviceBe the main point of contact for guest queries, feedback and escalationsEnsure a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure experience for all guestsAssist with training and development of Front Office team membersWork closely with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operationsMonitor service standards and ensure they are consistently metAssist with rostering and general operational tasks
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is passionate about guest service and ready to step up into a leadership role within a premium hotel environment.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a Front Office Supervisor or Duty Manager roleA genuine passion for delivering great guest experiencesStrong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with guests and colleaguesConfidence in handling guest concerns and making decisions on shiftExperience with Opera Cloud PMS is highly regardedA hands-on, team-focused approachAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAvailability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
