Job Description
You will be responsible for performing preventative and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance of equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This includes contributing ideas for improved systems, procedures, and maintenance to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and repair of equipment to prevent downtime and optimize performance
* Contribution of ideas and input to improve systems, procedures, and maintenance
* Collaboration with the production team to optimize equipment performance on a daily basis
* Assistance in capital and continuous improvement projects as directed
* Focus on health and safety
Requirements
* Trade qualifications - Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent
* Experience in Maintenance Fitter or Fitter-Mechanic role in a manufacturing environment
* Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills for fault finding
* Reliability, motivation, and self-starter attitude
