CopRice is the animal foods division of SunRice and is a leading supplier of nutrition products to the companion animal and livestock sectors. We have been supplying quality feeds for animals for over 30 years through plants in Leeton, Tongala, Leongatha, Gunnedah, Wangaratta, Cobden and Hamilton (NZ).
Position Overview
If you are looking for a pathway to an electrical career and the ability to earn as you earn, SunRice Group may have the position for you.
Working with expert tradespeople at CopRice, you will gain hands‐on experience and training in an industrial environment. You will work with a trades team that will coach and guide you on the job as well as receive tertiary training in a TAFE environment.
We value candidates that have technical capacity and a keen interest in the industry, as well as drive, dedication and a strong work and safety ethic. Candidates who are confident in their ability and show tenacity to work full time, study and complete coursework will be highly regarded.
Key Qualifications
* Commitment to study and completion of Certificate III in Engineering Trades
* Completion of Year 10 or above
* A current Driver's licence
* Evidence of literacy and numeracy aptitude
* Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally
* Basic skills in the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, small machinery, and various static and mobile vehicles, plant and machinery
* Basic computer skills including data entry and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
* Ability and willingness to travel for block release study
