Responsibilities
If you love a fast-paced environment where organisation meets people skills, this one's for you. As an Administration Officer in Specialist Outpatients, you'll be the behind-the-scenes powerhouse keeping everything moving—think bookings, waitlists, referrals and schedules all running like clockwork. You'll juggle appointments, reschedules and follow-ups, making sure patients are in the right place at the right time (and feel supported along the way). From prepping medical records to coordinating theatre and clinic lists with clinicians, you'll be right in the action—without ever needing scrubs. No two days are the same. You'll prioritise like a pro, problem-solve on the fly, and bring a calm, friendly approach when liaising with patients, families and staff. Add in a bit of admin innovation, teamwork, and the chance to work both independently and collaboratively—and you've got a role that keeps you on your toes in the best way.
