Overview
Warnbro Community High School Education Support Centre (CHS ESC) is seeking to establish a pool of dedicated Education Support Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies in the 2026 school year. Appointments from the pool may be made at any time throughout the year.
Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. Application requirements include character-limited responses to address only 2 Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) domains at application stage. The remaining AITSL domain will be assessed as part of the further assessment stage, for shortlisted applicants only.

About Warnbro CHS ESC
Warnbro CHS ESC is an Independent Public School for students with special educational needs, co-located with Warnbro Community High School. We are committed to providing the highest quality education, believing all students can learn, achieve and succeed. Our staff are supported through classroom coaching from our Curriculum Coordinator and one-on-one support from our Curriculum Leader to plan and adapt curriculum for diverse learners.
Warnbro CHS ESC consists of middle school Years 7, 8 and 9 and senior school Years 10, 11 and 12. Programs are aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum including English, Mathematics, Health and Physical Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science to build academic knowledge and social-emotional wellbeing. Senior students participate in the BELIEVE (Building Equitable Links in Enterprise and Vocational Education) program, which links English, Mathematics, Career & Enterprise, Health, and Independence to meaningful pathways for further study, employment, and life beyond school.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
