We are looking for an experienced and licensed Electrician with experience in the Fire Protection industry based in Bunbury.
About the Role
This role will be part of our team based at our Bunbury office. Reporting to the manager, you will help service fire alarm systems on site. The Electrical Technician will be servicing, testing and/or programming fire panels, cabling, alarm systems and associated equipment on our clients' sites. You will contribute by:
* Surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with Chubb Fire & Security procedures and processes.
* Identifying, testing, servicing, and repairing fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance with Chubb Fire & Security procedures and processes.
* Completing and providing evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including Field Services handheld technology.
* Complying with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
About You
* Experience working as an Electrical Technician in the Fire Protection industry
* Current Electrical licence
* Unrestricted work rights
* Current Driver's licence
* Current Cabling licence
* Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
* A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment.
* A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation is ideal, but not mandatory.
* EAHL is ideal, but not mandatory.
* Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
* Adhoc FIFO opportunity for projects / maintenance.
