A full time, permanent opportunity has become available in our Bupa ADH Health Service Contract (ADFHS) Risk, Governance and Quality Assurance team. This is a hybrid role and can be based from out Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office locations when not working from home. As Manager Clinical Governance Operations you will be responsible for all aspects of the ADFHS Clinical Governance related to Subcontractor management, the management of data entry and data quality and all Bupa and Defence clinical and risk reporting, as well as ensuring that all operational aspects of clinical governance activities are delivered including leadership, development, management, and implementation of effective clinical governance through compliance with Bupa policies, relevant legislation, regulation agencies and work instructions. How will I help? Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
1. Acting as a subject matter expert regarding general clinical governance requirements and promoting a culture that enables staff to understand and comply with quality, clinical risk and patient safety guidelines to meet relevant accreditation standards including ACSQHC NSQHS, ISO:9001 and other relevant industry standards
2. Responsibility for team governance, quality assurance and process improvement activities to ensure effective team operations including workload balancing, clinical governance, and risk reporting
3. Controlling key clinical governance procedures and policies including the clinical governance plan and coordinating clinical support to the service delivery team
4. Coordinating enhancements to key governance systems including Protecht and Microsoft Dynamics that contribute to the efficiency of the team and drive insights into quality improvement activities
5. Undertaking and completing detailed analysis and reporting of data obtained from clinical governance activities including contributions to internal and external reports
6. Ensureing business alignment and adherence to industry standards and requirements within the Bupa clinical governance, risk management and compliance framework

What do I need?
9. Health Professional/allied health practitioner with extensive experience in Clinical Governance, Quality and Risk Management experience.
10. Post Graduate qualifications or working towards i.e., Quality Management, Health Administration, Clinical Governance or similar will be highly desirable.
11. Demonstrated capacity to support and lead quality and compliance function.
12. Demonstrated ability to build and refine service delivery and clinical governance processes.
13. Proven ability to develop and implement frameworks, drive outcomes and ultimately delivery programs of work.
14. Strong conceptual, analytical, problem solving and strategic planning/thinking ability.
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to engage with a range of key stakeholders to work in partnership with service delivery teams to achieve outcomes.
16. Experience implementing organisational wide quality improvement initiatives and influencing teams in building a high-quality improvement culture.
17. This is a Security Cleared Position. The occupant must be an Australian Citizen and must be eligible to obtain and uphold a Baseline Security Clearance
