Overview
Mater Hospital Brisbane’s Oncology Ward (10B) has an exciting internal opportunity for a passionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse to join the team on a permanent part time basis (32 hours a week).
As an EN, you will have a strong patient-service focus, demonstrated commitment to continued service improvement, willingness to facilitate and encourage cohesive, positive professional relationships and be required to demonstrate problem-solving skills to improve patient care outcomes relevant to the ward.
About you
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration (no restrictions)
- Advanced clinical competency and experience within an Oncology area
- Demonstrated high levels of communication (both written and verbal) and clinical problem-solving skills
- The ability to function within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Previous experience with administering chemotherapy and experience with CVADS is desirable however not required. If no experience, willingness to acquire the skill
You will have strong leadership ability and experience, excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to promote the philosophy and values of Mater to all staff.
