About the role
Gareth Keenan Catering is seeking an experienced Catering Chef Off Site Catering to join our team in Ashmore. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis for our off-site catering events.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking high-quality, innovative dishes for corporate and private events
* Be able to run an event i.e wedding, with help, but you would be in charge of the event, set up, serve, pack down.
* Have a valid Australian driver license and be able to drive Ford Transit van
* Be able to help loading van for catering jobs.
* Working closely with the catering team to ensure seamless event execution
* Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
* Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
* Contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance our catering offerings
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef, preferably in an off-site catering or event-based role
* Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing requirements
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
* Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends as required
