About The Role
We are seeking applications from an experienced Housekeeper, with experience cleaning public areas.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, has a passion for inspiring a team and take pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and clean hotel rooms for check-in and outs
- Maintain and clean the public areas of the hotel
- Ensure rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
- Check supplies, equipment and housekeeping trolleys ensuring that at all times they are fully stocked and neatly presented for use in a guest area
- Check constantly for room status discrepancies and reports to Housekeeping Department and Front Office immediately.
- Keeps things in best condition by directing work and suggesting the necessary replacement of equipment
- Drive productivity
About You
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
- Minimum 1 years working within a similar position within a 4-5 star hotel is advantageous
- Experience with cleaning the public areas of a venue
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to recognise reoccurring cleaning issues
- Professional manner and exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- A friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to think on your feet and quickly resolve issues
