IT Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Specialist to lead the optimization and oversight of our IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT service management, and vendor relationships. This newly created role offers an excellent opportunity to shape the future of our organization's IT operations as we continue to innovate and expand globally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IT infrastructure. Manage IT systems, cloud services, networks, and cybersecurity frameworks.
2. Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, strategies for risk mitigation, and security controls. Ensure adherence to industry regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, and ITIL.
3. Lead IT service delivery and support teams to meet SLAs, ensuring continuity and operational efficiency. Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes.
4. Manage vendor relationships and IT contracts to ensure SLAs are met and evaluate new technology solutions. Negotiate contracts and optimize IT costs.
5. Lead IT projects including cloud migrations and cybersecurity initiatives. Support digital transformation efforts to improve efficiency and competitiveness across the organization.
6. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
7. 3+ years of experience in IT operations preferably in aviation, transport, or logistics industries.
8. Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL), cloud computing (Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
9. Proven experience with networking, firewalls, enterprise security, and endpoint protection.
10. Solid experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and IT procurement.
11. Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS, Essential 8, or NIST.
12. Project management experience with a focus on IT transformation initiatives.
13. Must have a valid Driver's License.
14. Willing to and able to travel as required.

20. Preferred Certifications & Qualifications:
* ITIL Foundation or Practitioner certification.
* Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+).
* PMP or PRINCE2 certification in project management.
* Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
* Knowledge of payroll, finance, HR, and workforce planning systems.
* Familiarity with DevOps and working in AGILE teams.
