**Job Opportunity: City Laws Officer**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Council Enforcement Officer. As a key member of our City Laws department, you will play a vital role in promoting and protecting safety and amenity outcomes within our community.
**About the Role:**
* Enforce legislation and regulations through investigation, education, and regulatory frameworks.
* Respond to community complaints and concerns, providing accurate advice and information on legislative responsibilities and council policies.
* Engage with the community to promote voluntary compliance and raise awareness of local laws and regulations.
* Conduct regular inspections and patrols of public places, seizing and impounding animals, goods, equipment, and vehicles as necessary.
**Requirements:**
* A Certificate IV in Statutory Compliance (Government) & Animal Control and Regulation or substantial experience working in law enforcement or animal management.
* Current Working with Children Check.
* Current driver's licence.
