The Role
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day maintenance function on site, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement across a fast‐paced production environment. This is a hands‐on leadership role, where you'll balance team supervision with technical involvement across electrical and automated systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities across production lines
* Supervise and support a team of electricians and fitters
* Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability
* Troubleshoot and support complex faults across PLC-controlled equipment, conveyors, motors, and automated systems
* Plan and schedule maintenance work in line with production requirements
* Support installation, commissioning, and upgrade of new equipment
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, waste reduction, and efficiency
* Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and food manufacturing requirementsMaintain accurate maintenance records and reporting
About You
* Trade qualified Electrician (Cert III or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a manufacturing / FMCG environment
* Previous lead or supervisory experience within maintenance
* Strong fault‐finding capability across electrical and control systems
* Experience working with automated / PLC‐driven equipment
* Ability to lead from the front and engage effectively with production teams
* Strong focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
