About the Role:
The Student Support Coordinator is responsible for ensuring students undertaking the Aboriginal Health Practitioner and other qualifications are culturally safe, supported, and work-ready. This involves providing brokerage between the Registered Training Organization, clients, and students, as well as social and emotional well-being support.

Key Responsibilities:
* Brokerage between training organizations, clients, and students.
* Social and emotional well-being support for trainees and students.
* Attendance support, especially in balancing work and study commitments across various locations.
* Cultural mentoring.
* Implementing and advocating for individual learning support plans, including tutoring and ongoing mentoring.
* Monitoring student progress during clinical placements.
* Coordinating logistics with training organizations.
* Conducting community and employer site visits as needed.
* Engaging with employers, students, and the community.
* Reporting on student outcomes.
* Promoting programs.
* Linking students with supports and referrals.
* Participating in committees focused on professional development.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They must also be able to undertake travel and hold an unrestricted driver's license.
